Summer bumbling
Hello subscribers and others! You might already know, but I took a break from Mid City over the summer. I've been busy these past couple months with friends visiting me in Ottawa and with travel plans. I wanted a break from working on Mid City and had so many grand plans. I wanted to spend my creative time doing other things, like:
- Figuring out what I'm going to do with Mid City in the fall
- Making fun, creative zines that aren't journalism-focused
- Writing
- Rebuilding my website on Bear Blogs (successfully!)
For my Mid City subscribers, I promised to send them a couple fun zines in the mail, since they're paying monthly for Mid City. Although I HAVE been working on other zines, including a couple collaborative ones, I haven't finished any of them. If you're a Mid City subscriber on Ko-Fi and you haven't received anything, don't worry. You haven't received anything because I haven't sent anything out yet. At the end of August, I'll send you two zines in the mail to make up for missing July 🥰💕
